Spencer Smith is an Analyst at Financial Management, Inc. (FMI), where he focuses on portfolio management and investment modeling. His role involves conducting market analysis, supporting investment strategies, and working with individual and institutional portfolios to develop tailored fiduciary strategies.

Before joining FMI in December of 2024, Spencer gained experience in fixed income trading and securities underwriting through internships at Crews & Associates, the investment banking division of First Security Bancorp. His background in these areas provides him with a strong foundation in debt capital markets and investment management.

Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science (BSBA) in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Arkansas and is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSF) in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds the Series 65 securities license.

Outside of work, Spencer enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors in nature, staying active, and traveling. Among the places he’s been, Telluride, Colorado has always held a special place in his heart for the sense of peace it brings, surrounded by the breathtaking San Juan Mountains.

Spencer grew up in Central Arkansas and resides in Wooster, Arkansas, where he is a member of Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene.
